About me
Changmuwei Wei was born in China and is based in Auckland, New Zealand studying as a doctoral candidate in Choral Conducting in The University of Canterbury. He has been invited as a guest conductor for the Manukau Symphony Orchestra, the Music Association of Auckland, as well as maintaining a busy schedule as freelance conductor and private piano and vocal teacher.
Wei’s choral philosophy is to create a virtuous communication cycle with singers and instrumentalists through his gesture, creating music and happiness together through the nurturing of this relationship.
